Grip the Club Correctly
A good grip is the first thing that makes a great swing possible. Try out both the overlap and contact grips to see which one works best for you.
Focus on Posture
Make sure your weight is equal, your back is straight, and your knees are just slightly bent. Your swing will get better from a balanced stance.
Start with Short Swings
Start with half- or three-quarter swings to acquire precision and control. As you become more confident, progressively swing fully.
Master the Basics of Putting
On the green, your friend is the putter. Emphasize slowing down and aiming; practice varying distances to increase accuracy.
Keep Your Eyes on the Ball
Look not too immediately following the shooting. To guarantee strong contact, keep your head down and your eyes on the ball through impact.
Practice Chipping Around the Green
Reducing strokes comes mostly from chipping. Emphasize quick, under control swings to bring the ball near the hole from just off the green.
Stay Patient and Have Fun
Though it's difficult, golf calls for patience. Along the road, acknowledge little successes and keep practicing; enjoy the process.
