Tiger Woods has announced that he is taking a break from golf.
He is doing this to focus on his recovery from his leg injuries.
Woods suffered multiple leg fractures in a car accident in February 2021.
He has since undergone multiple surgeries and rehabilitation.
Woods made his return to competitive golf at the Masters in April 2022.
However, he withdrew after the third round due to pain in his leg.
He has not played since then.
Woods said that he is "not yet physically able to compete at the highest level."
He said that he is "disappointed" to miss the rest of the 2022 season, but he is "committed to doing what's necessary to get back to the game I love."
Woods did not say when he expects to return to golf.
