1. Jordan Spieth, Max Homa, and Cameron Young are set to be part of the USA Ryder Cup team in Rome in 2023.
The team will also include world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and recent major winners Wyndham Clark and Brian Harman.
Vice-captain Fred Couples has confirmed the inclusion of Spieth, Homa, and Young in the team.
Six players will qualify for the team based on their on-course performances.
The remaining six players will be selected by captain Zach Johnson.
The confirmed players' places on the team have been publicly confirmed, which is rare.
There is still time for lower-placed players to secure automatic qualification.
Keegan Bradley, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Collin Morikawa, and Sam Burns are among the players competing for the remaining three spots.
Johnson will announce his additional captain's picks after the season-ending Tour Championship in August.
